Hello Ramya here !!!

The founder and instructor of Ramya’s Art Club. I was born and brought up in Salem, India. Ever since I was a kid, I had a love and passion for art. I would try all the different types of arts and had learned from every art show as a kid. I have made many crafts/pieces of artwork all around my house. My love and passion for art didn’t just end in my childhood, I had completed my Masters’ Degree in Fashion Designing as an adult. I started a designer’s boutique called "Ramya couture" back in India. My love for art didn’t just end there, I wanted to share my knowledge of art down to next generations, deciding to become an art teacher. So, I started "Ramya’s Art Club", taking classes for kids, teens, and ladies. I’ve always enjoyed being an art teacher, passing down knowledge about art that might become forgotten and having a blast with the kids. The happy faces of the children after looking at their completed pieces of artwork has always been priceless. I believe I have always been a good helper, and I like to be surround myself with good people. I am also volunteering for Toronto Tamizhargal group, started a digital weekly series for 8 weeks on every “Trending Tuesdays” about Visual Arts. My series had information on different types of art styles all around the world. You can find the video's of the series in the projects session. I hope that kids of the next generation become skilled in art as well, thank you for your time and attention!
